Jackie Nga Man Yeung
Student, University College London Faculty of Laws
Jackie Yeung graduated from the LLB program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and qualified for law school. She then went to University College London for a Master of Laws degree and is a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar. She has been a student representative at UCL. Her specialization is corporate law but she is interested also in competition law, intellectual property rights, and international environmental law. She was in summer exchange programs to study international law at the University of Sydney and Tsinghua University in China to study Chinese law. Having interned at various law firms, barristers' chambers, in-house departments and courts martial, she is prepared to be a trainee-solicitor in Hong Kong at Norton Rose Group in 2013.
Jackie loves mooting. She was a representative of CUHK for Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, and currently is the student coach for UCL. She was also a Hong Kong representative under the International Exchange Youth Program to Cork and Dublin, Ireland, where she discussed volunteer services and other issues with the Irish delegates. Learning from other cultures is great fun! Actively involved in volunteering, she was once the head liaison for a fund-raising dinner for Watoto Hong Kong Limited with the Hong Kong Federation of Women Lawyers.
Jackie loves traveling, playing water sports and hiking. She loves to smile. She speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English. She looks forward to LawWithoutWalls.
