Wang Qiongyue
Student, Peking University School of Transnational Law
Wang Qiongyue is a second-year student in Peking University School of Transnational Law. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree at Zhejiang University, where she majored in pharmaceutical science. During her college education, Qiongyue began to explore her interest in the social sciences, with the ultimate aim of improving the well-being of society.
After graduation, Qiongyue chose law as her graduate major and joined Peking University School of Transnational Law, the first school to offer a western-style Juris Doctor curriculum alongside a Chinese-style Juris Master curriculum. Qiongyue very much enjoys what she calls “this pioneering, challenging and enlightening education,” from which she has gained not only a wide knowledge of different legal systems but strengthened her determination to devote herself to the legal profession. Qiongyue expects to apply what she has acquired from western legal systems to her own country’s legal system in the future.
