Michelle Wallis

Associate, Eversheds LLP

Michelle Wallis is an Associate working in Eversheds' international Banking and Finance Team. She has a range of experience acting for both borrowers and lenders in different areas of banking, including club, syndicated and bilateral lending, private placement, acquisition finance, real estate finance and project finance. Her work ranges from large international cross border matters to vanilla loans.

Michelle undertook a nine month client secondment at HSBC working in their Corporate Capital Origination Team. Her secondment gave her a greater understanding of the process, business issues and documentation involved in corporate lending. Michelle is currently on secondment to Lloyds Banking Group working in one of their Commercial Banking Legal Teams. During her training contract with Eversheds, Michelle gained experience in real estate, banking, competition, restructuring and commercial dispute resolution. Michelle was also involved in corporate responsibility at Eversheds, which included assisting with the organisation of the annual Give and Gain Day with Business in the Community.

Michelle read English Literature at The University of Warwick. Michelle then completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, London, earning her an first class LLB in Law.
