Daniel Taylor

Dan Taylor is an Associate in Eversheds’ corporate group. Dan has experience of equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate work, acting for both public and private companies. Currently based in the firm’s Manchester office, Dan has also spent time working in London and Hong Kong and is currently on secondment with the in-house legal team at Manchester Airports Group, assisting with its bid to acquire Stansted Airport. Dan is a member of Eversheds’ transport and aerospace, defence and security sector groups.
Dan's recent capital markets experience includes acting on the IPOs of Ilika Technologies plc, Waterlogic plc and Revolymer plc on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange, advising the majority shareholder of Ocado plc in relation to Ocado's £937m IPO on the main market of the London Stock Exchange and advising Libertas Capital in respect of the AIM IPOs of Prophotonix plc, Frontier Mining plc and PeerTV plc. Dan's recent M&A experience includes acting for the management team of Environmental Property Services Limited on the £38.5m disposal to MITIE Plc, acting for Transport for London on the sale of East Thames Buses, acting for Amber Asset Management in respect of the disposal of its interests in two major PFI projects, acting for Lookers plc on the acquisition of Lomond Motors and acting for the Jack Walker Trust on the disposal of Neale's Waste Management. In 2011 Dan undertook a secondment to Eversheds’ capital markets team in Hong Kong where he advised on two large IPOs on the main market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and advised a French pharmaceutical company in respect of a joint venture in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Eversheds, Dan gained an undergraduate degree in Business and Economics from the University of Bath and then completed the Post-graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Manchester. In his spare time Dan is a keen sportsman, especially rugby, cricket and skiing.
