Peter Sudbury

Peter Sudbury is a Legal Counsel at Barclays Bank PLC in London, where he has worked for six years. He specializes in UK retail banking regulation, and in particular secured lending. Most recently he has been involved in the purchase and migration of two large residential mortgage books to Barclays and the implementation of the UK Mortgage Market Review. Peter is also a member of the Secured Lending Executive Council, which is responsible for the management of Barclays' £100 billion secured lending portfolio.

Prior to joining Barclays, Peter worked for five years at National Australia Bank in Melbourne, focusing on corporate workout and recovery.

Peter obtained a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology, graduating in 2002, and was admitted as a Solicitor in Victoria in 2005.
