Marco Salgado is an attorney at Bahamondez, Alvarez & Zegers in Santiago de Chile, Chile (www.baz.cl). He also is the Academic Secretary and a Professor at the Corporate Governance Diploma at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (“PUC”) (http://diplomados.derecho.uc.cl/diplomados-derecho-uc/gobiernos-corporativos/), an Associate Researcher at the Corporate Governance Centre UC (www.cgcuc.cl) and a Professor at the LL.M – International Program of the PUC (http://derecho.uc.cl/postgrados-y-diplomados/llm-magister-derecho-de-la-empresa-internacional/) .

Among recent experiences, he has worked for Shutts & Bowen LLP in Miami, FL. (2011) and been a Michigan Grotius Research Fellow (Grotius Research Fellowship Recipient) at the University of Michigan School of Law (2010) and an Assistant Instructor of the International Business Transaction Course at University of Miami School of Law (2011).

Marco obtained his Law and LL.M degrees from the PUC. He is interested in cross boarder practice, in particular, in how to deal with the challenges that presents the interaction between different legal systems. He spares his leisure time between his family, friends, ventures (www.futbolfit.cl) and his passion for sports and cars.
