Anna Donovan

Anna Donovan is a Teaching Fellow and doctoral student at University College London, specializing in company law.
Anna completed her undergraduate degree in law at the University of Lancaster and her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guildford. Prior to the LL.M Anna was a corporate lawyer with PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal LLP in London specializing in corporate restructuring together with private company mergers and acquisitions. Anna has a particular research interest in corporate governance and has regularly provided training to directors and company secretaries of UK companies (including those within the FTSE 350) on their duties under UK company law. In addition, Anna was a contributing author to ‘A Practical Guide to the Companies Act 2006 – A guide for busy directors and company secretaries’ writing chapters on directors’ duties and transactions with directors. Anna is also admitted to the New York state bar.
In her spare time Anna enjoys travel (trying to visit New York as often as possible!) and spent most of 2010 living in Toronto.
