Stephanie Panchkowry is a student at the University College London where she is currently studying a specialism LL.M in International Commercial Litigation, with the modules Banking, Insurance, International and Comparative Restitution and Media. She studied her undergraduate degree in Law with Business at the University of Brighton, gaining a LL.B First Class degree. She represented the University of Brighton in the annual Sussex v Brighton Moot 2009 and received a Board of Governor’s Scholarship. She also received awards for the best public law student and best LL.B student, along with certificates of excellence for her outstanding academic performance on the LL.B.
She went on to be awarded the prestigious full Lord Denning Scholarship, along with a Hardwicke Entrance Award for studying the Bar Professional Training Course at the College of Law in Bloomsbury, London. She is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and has been called to the Bar.
Previous to studying law, Stephanie gained a full three year scholarship for Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. She went on to work as cabin crew for British Airways, flying to both long haul and short haul destinations. She is half Mauritian and half Irish.
