Rajini Murugeshan

Student, National Law School of India University, Bangalor

Rajini Murugeshan is a third year law student from the National Law School of India University and will be shortly interning with a Belgian law firm specializing in international NGOs in February 2013. As an intern with the Center for Child and Law he has helped in the legislative analysis of the Right to Food Bill and on the Abolition of Child Marriage Act. As a member of the Legal Services Clinic at the law school, he enjoys organizing events to spread legal awareness and doing researching for pro bono cases.

With a keen interest in development studies, he has recently written a term paper on poverty alleviation strategies and problems associated with them. Rajini has attempted to merge his legal studies with business ideas through his involvement with the Entrepreneurship Cell.

Rajini engages in dramatics during his free time. He currently co-heads the Bangalore Chapter of the Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access, a program for underprivileged high school students aspiring to get into top law colleges in India.
