Indira Murthy

Indira Murthy is currently pursuing her Master in Laws with a specialisation in International Banking and Finance at the University College London.
Indira completed her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at the K.C. Law College, University of Mumbai in 2007. She received the “Arunaditya Vishnu K. Dhurandhar Gold Medal”, “The Sir Jamshedji B. Kanga Golden Jubilee Memorial Prize” and “The Shri Madhavrao Shankarrao Pandit M.A. (Oxon) Bar-At-Law Scholarship” from the University of Mumbai for her outstanding academic performance at the LL.B. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (specialising in Taxation and Business Management) degree from the H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, University of Mumbai, receiving the “Best Student in Business Management” Award from her college.
Indira is a qualified lawyer with a deep interest in the development of inter-disciplinary education in law and business. She has worked as a transactional corporate lawyer at Gagrats, one of Mumbai’s leading corporate law firms specialising in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. Prior to that, she interned with Fox Mandal Little.
