Stefanie Meyers is a second-year student at the University of Miami School of Law. She currently serves as a Research Assistant for Michele DeStefano Beardslee and Michael Bossone for LawWithoutWalls.
Stefanie is also currently working as a legal intern at the Faculty Senate Office of the University of Miami. In addition, she is a member of Lambda Legal. During the summer of 2010, Stefanie worked as a research supervisor for Dr. Eli Noam at Columbia University's Institute for Tele-Information where she contributed the the research, writing and editing of a media law textbook. Her legal interests include Communications and Telecommunications Law. Stefanie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications from Elon University in Elon, NC, where she graduated was a member of the Honors Program and captain of the Varsity Volleyball team. She was also a recipient of the Coleman Lew Leadership Award and her research on the reform of the cable franchising process was published in the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisers Spring 2008 Journal. Prior to attending law school, Stefanie interned at at Time Warner Cable's legal department, the American Red Cross, and the Tennessee Cable Telecommunications Association. Stefanie is originally from Columbus, OH and is currently residing in Miami, FL.
