Joel McNabney
Student, University of Miami School of Law

Joel McNabney is currently in his second year at the University of Miami School of Law. Joel has taken an interest in tax law (for better or worse), and he is a member of the Tax Society. Last summer, Joel worked as a research assistant for Professor Michele DeStefano.
Joel was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Indiana University where he majored in business economics and public pollicy, minored in history, and was involved in the Greek Community.
Joel likes to play golf (avidly when things are going his way, periodically when not). He also likes to cook, which is exactly the same as saying Joel likes to learn from his mistakes. Finally, apparently his occasionally successful, often eventful bouts with the game of golf and the art of cooking are not torture enough for Joel, so he is a diehard fan of the Indiana University basketball team. Thus, agony and despair might as well be the names of the old pair of running shoes he has in his closet. (He is actually shaking his head as he is writing this.)
