Lawyer, Coca Cola Iberia

Lucía Lobato Barrenechea has been part of the legal team of Coca Cola Iberia since 2002. She gives legal assessment to all the departments of the company and she is also responsible for Data Protection Affairs and internet projects in Spain, and has also been an active player in European projects of Coca-Cola related to these matters. Together with, her day to day assessment, she coaches scholarship students, which she thoroughly enjoys. 

Previously to working at Coca- Cola, she was part of the Legal department at the former company Airtel Móvil, S.A now Vodafone. When she finished her law degree she did an internship at Iberdrola S.A in the legal department  where she mainly worked in the areas of Civil, Criminal and Administrative Law.

Lucía  is an expert in Marketing and Media Legal, mainly specialized in matters related to Copyrights, Sponsorships, Consumer promotions, internet and new technologies, as well as data protection issues. She graduated as a lawyer from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 1997, and between 1996 and 1997 she participated in the ERASMUS program between Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Université de Picardie Jules Verne from France. In addition, she did a training course which was focused in law at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid and  she holds a  Master’s degree in Legal business consulting from the  Business Institute from Madrid.
