Andreas Imthurn

Student, University of St. Gallen, Law School

Andreas Imthurn is currently a MLE (Master in Law and Economics) student at the University of St. Gallen and will be completing his studies in 2014. He also studies Business Education at the University of St. Gallen. During his years in St. Gallen, he has led ELSA St. Gallen, the law students association and is heading for the national board of ELSA Switzerland. Andreas is an assistant of the managing board and project management of GUS Schweiz AG, a middle-sized IT-company for ERP-solutions in St. Gallen.

In the summer of 2012, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Law and Economics at the University of St. Gallen. Recently, Andreas has done study visits to Geneva, Montreal, Bournemouth and Fort Lauderdale. In addition to his academic career, he has been a part-time snowboard instructor in Lenzerheide, Switzerland since 2006.

In his free time, Andreas is a keen traveller with experience navigating through Europe, North America as well as the Middle East. Each year, he volunteers as a snowboard teacher for ski camps with secondary schools and teaches students how to ride as well as the risks of the mountains. Andreas loves to read and loves many different sports, especially soccer and winter sports.
