Corey Gaul

Student, New York Law School

Corey Gaul is a third year student at New York Law School located in downtown Manhattan. At NYLS, he is a senior member of the International Associates Program and served as Vice President of the International Law Society. In addition, Corey is the Magister of Phi Delta Phi, Dwight Inn Chapter, the country’s oldest international legal fraternity. 

Since his first year at law school, Corey has worked with Professor Lung-Chu Chen in writing and editing the third edition of his book, An Introduction to Contemporary International Law (Yale Press, 2d ed. 2001).  Besides assisting Professor Chen, over the past two summers he worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Mary K. Costello of Hudson County State Superior Court in Jersey City, New Jersey. Corey has accepted a clerkship with Judge Costello beginning in September, 2011.

Corey is originally from New Jersey and received his BA from Providence College in May, 2008. While at Providence College, he spent a semester in Prague, Czech Republic where he studied Eastern European history and worked as an English language instructor.
