Kevin Doolan is a member of the Senior Management Team at international law firm Eversheds, with particular responsibility for new client development, pricing strategy, business development training and mentoring for qualified staff from trainee solicitor through to partnership. Eversheds has 47 Offices across 28 countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia providing legal services to many of the world's leading multi-national corporations and governments. In 2006 he negotiated Eversheds' ground breaking single firm agreement with Tyco and served as their first client partner under an innovative fixed fee arrangement. The model is a Harvard Law School case study and subsequent innovations in delivering legal services won the Financial Times Innovation Award for Client Service (2009) and The Law Society's Award for Innovation in Client Service (2010).
Prior to moving full time into a management role in 2001, Kevin was the partner heading the Retail Financial Services division of Eversheds with a team of 300+ delivering legal advice to the leading financial institutions in the UK. He is a keen technologist and for 2 years ran the project to develop ground breaking online services for clients. In 1996 he completed his MBA at Henley Management College and developed a 5 factor model for the pricing of professional services upon which he has lectured widely throughout Europe and the USA. Kevin also developed a suite of Key Performance Indicators for legal services which are used both by in house teams to measure the value that they deliver to the company and also as a way of managing external legal firms to deliver better performance.
Kevin teaches on the International Masters Program at the London School of Economics, the Lawyers Management Program at IE Business School in Madrid and at the Harvard Law School Executive Education Program.
