Thomas Dance

Student, University College London Laws

Tom Dance was brought up and educated in an idyllic village in rural Oxfordshire, England. He caught tadpoles in the local pond, fought battles with savage pirates, and got chastised for smashing the garage windows whilst practising his golf swing. He went on to study law at Oxford University and is now a student on the LLM at UCL where he has specialised in his one true love jurisprudence.

He is a keen chef, first training in England and then completing an apprenticeship in Paris after finishing school. This has stood him in good stead for succeeding as a barrister.

Tom is also a tennis player and would like nothing better than to tread the sacred green cloth of Centre Court at Wimbledon cavorting with his hero Rafa Nadal, but had to settle for the university hard courts in Oxford, which are of such a poor standard that he failed to win a single match in the Oxford-Cambridge varsity.

Finally, Tom’s most prized possession is his guitar, which travels with him everywhere and has produced some of the finest soul-searching ballads since James Blunt took to the stage.
