Lindsay Columbo

Student, University of Miami School of Law

Lindsay Columbo is a second-year law student at the University of Miami School of Law where she currently works as a Research Assistant for Dean Janet Stearns and a Dean’s Fellow for Dean Patrick Gudridge.                                                                                           

During the summer of 2012, Lindsay worked as a legal intern in the Compliance & Ethics department at Brightstar Corp., an international telecommunications company, where she revised and created new policies such as Social Media. During the fall of 2012, Lindsay continued to work for Brightstar Corp. and aided in collecting and researching materials for a Latin American Healthcare Compliance Certificate Program, which took place at the University of Miami School of Business. Lindsay participated in the Leipzig Compliance Seminar where she partnered with a student in Germany to host a presentation on how techniques of neutralization and cognitive dissonance affect white-collar crime and compliance in business organizations.

Lindsay studied Economics, Business Law, and Music Business at the University of Miami, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree at the School of Business. Lindsay enjoys traveling, cooking, playing guitar, and blues music.
