Marti Candiello, heads the Career and Professional Development Office at the Earle Mack School of Law of Drexel University.
The former general counsel of Sunoco Chemicals, Marti was responsible for the management of all legal affairs for the business from 2003 to 2006. From 1979 to 2000, Marti rose through the ranks of the Corporate Legal Department of Rohm and Haas Company, where she served as strategic business counsel for a $1.2 billion business group from 1998 through 2000. In that capacity, she was a member of the senior management team. In an earlier role at Rohm and Haas, she served as assistant general counsel and chief regulatory counsel for the $6 billion global specialty chemical company. From 2006 to 2008, she was director of general counsel relations at Reed Smith, LLP, where she had responsibility for evaluating and strengthening the firm’s relationships with its key clients worldwide. Most recently, Marti was principal of ClientBridge, LLC, which helps professional service organizations gain strategic advantage by identifying and implementing leading-edge client service standards.
She earned her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law-Camden, and her B.A., with distinction, from Cornell University.
