Jill Barrett

Jill Barrett is currently an LL.M student at University College London, specializing in Corporate Law. Jill completed her undergraduate degree at Trinity College, Dublin, where she studied Law and German and was awarded an Entrance Academic Scholarship for studying this double degree. For her third year at Law School, Jill studied as an Exchange Student at the Julius Maximilians Universität Würzburg in Germany, where she focused on EU and German law.
Last summer, Jill completed an internship with international law firm Clifford Chance, in their Frankfurt Office, where she worked in the Banking & Capital Markets Department. Whilst at law school, Jill was involved in the Wilem C.Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court and internal Trinity College Moot Court Competitions. She was recognised on the Trinity College Dublin Dean of Students Role of Honor 2012 as a result of her tutoring of junior Law and German students.
Alongside this, Jill likes learning languages and is fluent in English, Gaelic, French and German. Over the next year, she aims to start to learn Spanish. In her spare-time Jill likes to play field hockey and loves to travel. Jill is originally from a suburb in Dublin, but currently adjusting to life in London.
