Soledad Atienza

Professor of Law, Director of Bachelor of Laws, IE University

Soledad Atienza is a Professor of Law and is the director of the Bachelor of laws at IE University. She is co-chair of the Academic and Professional Development Committee of the IBA (International Bar Association). She is co-director of the PEREZ LLORCA / IE Chair for Commercial Law. Soledad teaches “law firm management” in the LLM program and “Law Unplugged” in the LLB program.
 
Previously, Soledad was associate director of the LLM at IE Law School and co-director of the IE Law School Executive Education “Lawyers’ management program”. She has practiced as a lawyer for five years at PEREZ-LLORCA law firm.

Soledad has a Ph.D. in Social Sciences by IE University (Spain) in the area of comparative legal education for lawyers, she has an Executive MBA by IE Business School (Spain) and a “Zertifikat über Europäische Studien” from Europa Institut, Universität des Saarlandes (Germany). She has been a visiting student at Cornell University (USA) and has a Licenciatura en Derecho by Universidad CEU San Pablo (Spain).
